Theatre texts and opera libretti
Plays don’t fully take form until they are brought to life on stage, and as a result, play translations require that special attention be paid to the verbal qualities of language. After all, actors will be reciting these words on stage.

I have done considerable work in theatre – both during my education and alongside my translation work – and gained a lot of experience in the field. I’m particularly interested in contemporary theatre in its many variants. I also have significant experience in musical theatre, where I’ve learned about the unique demands of sung texts.
